About

Josh Schaefer is an award winning multimedia photojournalist based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Throughout the past decade he has worked for some of the largest clients, events and festivals in the province.

After realizing that very few people can actually spell his last name properly, he decided to make the gradual conversion to GetMyPhoto.ca. Since 2015, that part of the business has grown exponentially and all of his efforts are now focused on providing the best photography to his clients with his decade of experience and through the network of photographer's that he's built over past years.

University of Saskatchewan Huskies

One of Josh's largest clients since 2011, the U of S Huskies have twelve teams that compete during the college athletics season.

Teams include Soccer, Cross Country, Hockey, Basketball, Volleyball, Wrestling and Track and Field.

There are a wide number of shoots that we perform throughout the athletic season including team and headshots, sports-action and specialty studio shoots. We also provide a wide range of print products.
